YOUR CANADIAN VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
My name is Diana Duchscherer, and I bring over 29 years of business, admin, tech, and creative experience to Lemon Lift VA. I currently live in Prince George, BC, Canada with my husband Matthew. We have three grown children and two amazing dogs. You can find me cooking in the kitchen, reading a Clive Cussler novel, or cheering at a football or hockey game. I also love to go fishing and caught my first sturgeon in the Fraser River.

Why Lemon Lift Virtual Assistant? Because my goal is to lift your business off the ground and sweeten the sour stuff: you know, the admin tasks that make you want to pucker up and cry. I’m here to take the zest out of your stress, juice up your workflow, and turn those bitter to-do lists into sweet, citrusy wins. If you’re looking for remote admin support in Canada, you found it here. Basically, I do the squeezing so you can do the shining. 🍋

BACKGROUND
I got my first personal computer at the age of nine, and I’ve been immersed in technology ever since. From early coding experiments and word processing to today’s cutting-edge AI tools, I’ve witnessed and adapted to the rapid evolution of the digital landscape. While I’m a PC enthusiast at heart, I began my journey on Apple systems and am fluent in both platforms.

My skill set has been shaped through a combination of hands-on experience and continued learning. I’ve taken formal courses to deepen my expertise, but much of my knowledge comes from real-world application. From database management and document creation to graphic design and automation, I’ve explored a broad spectrum of digital tools and platforms and I’m always ready to dive into what’s next.

EXPERIENCES
I started my career in a lumber company, building databases, generating reports, managing backups, and providing tech support. I also gained experience in accounts payable, shipping, and human resources.

After stepping away to raise my children, I returned to work in direct sales with a kitchen products company. There, I strengthened my customer service skills, led a team, and developed graphic design abilities. My creative work led to a freelance contract with CinchShare, where I designed monthly graphics and grew my digital portfolio. I’ve also built strong skills in social media management. This includes creating and moderating Facebook groups, managing Instagram pages, and supporting online communities.

Now that my children are more independent, I’m focusing on a new chapter as an AI-certified virtual assistant. This role allows me to combine my tech background, creative skills, and flexible approach into work that aligns with both my passions and lifestyle.
